Welcome to My Life Behind Bras. For over 40 years, I’ve been a backstage staple, working with costume designers and wardrobe crews on Broadway, in film, and on television. I’ve seen it all—quick changes in tight quarters, seams that won’t behave, and the transformative magic of a perfect foundation garment. It’s not glamorous, but it’s essential. When what’s closest to the skin works, it allows everything else to fall into place.
When I opened BraTenders, my mission was clear—to help women feel seen, supported, and confident. Every fitting was a chance to change a life, one perfectly fitted bra at a time. Now, through my writing, I’m taking that connection further, reflecting on the incredible stories and lessons that have shaped my life and career.
